Description
Fidarsi are working with an established Bank in the City of London, looking for a skilled Employee Relations Manager to take the lead on complex casework and drive a positive, high-performing culture.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real impact — advising senior leaders, managing sensitive cases, and shaping how the organisation supports and develops its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct thorough, fair investigations and ensure all outcomes are compliant and consistent.
- Review and enhance ER policies and processes to align with employment law and business values.
- Coach and guide managers on performance management, people issues, and best practice.
- Support engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives that strengthen the employee experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, promoting an open, transparent, and supportive culture.
- Track and analyse ER trends to identify risks and develop proactive solutions.
- Partner with HR teams to deliver training on leadership, D&I, and effective people management.
About You
- Strong experience in employee relations or HR generalist roles, ideally within complex or regulated environments.
- In-depth understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Confident managing investigations, grievances, and disciplinary matters from end to end.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Analytical mindset, with sound judgment and a calm, pragmatic approach.
