High-Growth Financial Services | Executive Exposure | Strategic Impact
A high-performing specialist financial services organisation is seeking a commercially astute FP&A Business Partner to drive cost performance and support strategic growth.
This is a newly created role offering broad exposure across the business, with direct interaction at Executive level. You’ll play a key role in cost control, forecasting, corporate planning and performance insight — helping shape decision-making as the business continues its expansion trajectory.
This is not a reporting role. You will act as a true business partner — challenging, influencing and supporting senior stakeholders to ensure cost performance aligns with corporate objectives. You’ll bring clarity to financial data, provide robust forecasting insight, and drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
-Partner with cost centre owners and Executive stakeholders to review performance vs Corporate Plan
-Deliver clear, impactful monthly and bi-monthly cost reporting and variance analysis
-Support preparation of Corporate and Financial Plans, including cost and headcount planning
-Own rolling forecasts and cost trajectory modelling
-Support business change initiatives, modelling both capex and opex spend
-Work closely with HR on headcount planning and workforce modelling
-Liaise with finance operations on month-end cost reporting and analysis
-Deliver insightful financial modelling across business lines and support functions
-Act as the bridge between Finance and the wider business
-Drive automation and reporting efficiencies using technology
-Become a subject matter expert in financial planning systems, supporting forecasting, MI and budgeting processes
What We’re Looking For
-Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
-Proven experience in finance business partnering, ideally within cost control
-Strong background in financial services
-Solid understanding of management accounting, forecasting and variance analysis
-Advanced financial modelling capability
-Experience working with GL systems and data extraction tools
-Comfortable using reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
-Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
-Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to challenge constructively
Why Apply?
-Newly created, high-visibility role
-Direct Executive exposure
-Strategic influence on cost and planning decisions
-Opportunity to shape systems and improve processes
-Career progression within a growing, ambitious organisation
-If you’re commercially minded, systems-savvy, and ready to take ownership in a fast-evolving financial environment, this is an opportunity to make real impact.
