Employee Relations Consultant – Financial Services (6 Month Contract)

£85,000 – £90,000

I am working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Employee Relations (ER) Consultant to join on a 6-month contract. This is a key role supporting a period of organisational change, requiring strong experience within regulated environments and the ability to operate confidently at a senior stakeholder level.

The Role

You will play a critical role in managing complex and sensitive ER matters, with a focus on:

Leading and advising on redundancies and organisational change programmes
Supporting wider change management initiatives across the business
Partnering with senior leaders and SMF / regulated role holders
Managing complex ER cases with professionalism and discretion
Providing clear, commercially focused HR advice within a regulated environment
Engaging in board-level conversations and influencing senior stakeholders

About You

Proven experience in a senior ER / HR role within financial services or another highly regulated environment
Strong track record of managing redundancies and large-scale change programmes
Experience working with SMFs or regulated roles
Confident engaging with and influencing senior leadership and executive stakeholders
Strong understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory frameworks
Able to balance commercial outcomes with people impact
