They are now seeking a Head of HR to join their leadership team in a standalone capacity, covering our UK and US operations.

As Head of HR, you will be the driving force behind our people strategy across both jurisdictions. This is a unique opportunity to shape HR policy and practice in a global setting. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to support business growth while ensuring regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leadership and management.
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and US labour laws.
    • Manage the employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
    • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
    • Develop and execute initiatives on talent management, DEI, and employee engagement.
    • Own HR policies, contracts, and systems ensuring they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
    • Partner with legal and compliance teams to meet regulatory obligations.
    • Support global expansion and integration of HR practices.

    Must have:

    • Proven HR leadership experience, ideally within financial services or a brokerage environment.
    • Deep understanding of FCA regulatory requirements and compliance in a regulated environment.
    • Experience covering both UK and US jurisdictions.
    • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability – this is a standalone role.
    • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • Ability to work autonomously and manage across time zones.

    Salary and Benefits

    • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
    • Opportunity to build and shape a global HR function.
    • Collaborative, high-performing leadership team.
    • Hybrid work flexibility.
    • Private healthcare, pension, and other benefits.
