About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a leading bank on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic HR function supporting a variety of people processes across the business.
As an HR Generalist, you’ll provide hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with business leaders and employees to deliver efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and has experience within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, promotions, and offboarding.
• Advise and support managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
• Manage employee relations cases, ensuring issues are handled fairly and compliantly.
• Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate employee data.
• Support HR projects and initiatives, including process improvements, engagement activities, and compliance audits.
• Act as a first point of contact for HR queries from employees and managers.
About You:
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of UK employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations cases and handling confidential information.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
• Proficient in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, or similar).
• CIPD qualified or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
