Description

Fidarsi is partnering with a fast-growing, international organisation to appoint a skilled Payroll Specialist on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple countries and thrives in a detail-driven, collaborative environment.

Based in Birmingham with a hybrid working model, this role plays a key part in ensuring payroll operations across Europe run smoothly, accurately, and in line with local regulations.

The role includes:

  • Managing the full payroll cycle across several European countries on a monthly basis
  • Coordinating payroll data, checks, approvals, and final outputs to ensure smooth delivery
  • Acting as the main point of contact between internal teams and external payroll partners
  • Supporting compliance with country-specific tax, social security, and statutory requirements
  • Maintaining and updating payroll data within a modern HR/payroll system
  • Handling employee payroll queries with professionalism and discretion
  • Supporting financial processes including reconciliations and reporting
  • Assisting with audit requirements and ensuring accurate documentation is maintained
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems

Ideal experience needed:

  • Solid experience working with European payrolls (multi-country exposure highly beneficial)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based HR/payroll platforms (experience with Rippling is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance across EU jurisdictions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in reconciliations
  • Experience supporting pensions and benefits administration
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently within a part-time structure
  • Confident communicator who can collaborate effectively across HR, Finance, and external partners
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment
