Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing small, growing finance team
• Production of the Monthly Management accounts;
• Prepare the annual financial statements;
• Ad hoc projects for Board and MI;
• Work on new accounting judgement papers;
• Prepare the responses to requests of external auditors;
• Participate in implementation of new IT systems;
• Run the IFRS 9 model on Lending;
• IFRS 16 accounting for leases;
• Implement the internal controls across the Finance Department;
• Collaborate on continuous improvement of quality and efficiency of existing internal controls;
• Monitoring cash flow;
• Any other duties as required by management.

As the successful candidate, you will be an ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or CPA accountant from a banking or lending environment. You will be a passionate individual who is looking for a role in an organisation where you can really add to the growth. A knowledge of IFRS 9 is essential
