Description
Fidarsi are partnering with one of the fastest growing Challenger Banks and are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their Cardiff HR team to cover a 12 month maternity leave.
The HR team plays a pivotal role in driving business success — empowering leaders to bring out the best in their people, and holding them accountable for cultivating a positive, high-performing culture.
They are on an exciting journey to bring their People Strategy to life. Reporting directly to the Head of HR Business Partnering, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a real impact — contributing to their evolving employee value proposition and supporting long-term, sustainable growth.
The HR Business Partner duties:
- Champion cultural transformation in line with the group vision, values and behaviours which are demonstrated by leadership, supported by management and ‘felt’ by all
- Create trusted relationships, to plan and develop, monitor, and measure the success of the overall People strategy, in line with the strategic direction of business
- Advise and consult on all People matters and initiatives. In addition, this role will share and raise location/business issues, insights and trends to the Group HR teams and drive resolution.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the relevant business models, enabling strategic consulting and impactful delivery of all people initiatives
- Partner with the recruitment team to deliver effective Talent Acquisition strategy including executive recruitment
- Ensure that Diversity and Inclusion is a golden thread through all People related matters
- Drive a high-performance culture across the business enabled by Group Performance Management solutions and strategy
- The custodian of effective organisational design, ensuring we develop a fit for purpose, effective and efficient organisation that drives business performance, customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.
- Develop and deliver effective talent management strategies, balancing local needs with delivery of Group talent and succession products. Including mitigation of People Risk.
- Providing leadership coaching, alongside effective and influential challenge, of senior and executive leaders.
- Deliver and support core HR services as required by the business units, such as annual pay/bonus review, development planning and employee relations issues.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience of acting as a true Business Partner, working with multiple stakeholder groups and a focus on acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders.
- Significant commercial understanding and experience of applying existing expertise within a complex, regulated business environment.
- Experience of organisation design and development activities, with capability to support and influence senior leaders in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to build relationships and gain credibility at all levels of management and Executive, influencing both the people and the wider business agenda.
- Experience of developing and supporting culture change programmes.
- Ability to demonstrate a resilient and pragmatic approach to partnering.
- Strong intellectual capability and presence.
- Clear commercial mindset and focus with an entrepreneurial approach to getting things done.
- CIPD qualified desirable but not essential.
